Volunteers must be 18 by September 16th.

Why volunteer?

Being involved enhances your festival experience. Help make the fun happen. Meet new friends, save money and still see your favorite band.

How much time do I need to commit?

The basic commitment is 4 hours for a Saturday pass.

Can I delete or switch my shifts once I have signed up?

No. We appreciate your signing-up, and although we understand things happen, it helps us during the event to have as few changes as possible. Be careful what you sign-up for, and be determined! We’re counting on you.

When can I arrive?

Volunteers can arrive and set-up their camp beginning on Thursday, September 29th, 2 PM.

When is the volunteer meeting? Do I need to attend?

The volunteer meeting is on Friday, Sept. 16h, 9 AM at the Joshua Tree Community Center. All volunteers should plan to attend, to receive training and information.

Can I split time between areas?

Only if you choose to work 8 hours or more.

Where will we check-in when we arrive at the JT Sportsmans Club?

Check in at the one and only Will Call Booth. Please bring your ID and your name will be on the volunteer list.

Are there opportunities to volunteer other than at the festival?

Yes. If you’d like to help out in the weeks and days leading up to the event, email us with PRE-FEST in the subject line. If you’d like to help out with Street Team/PR, email us with PROMO in the subject line. Emails go to: jtifilmfest@gmail.com.
